Ongole 26th January 2016: The colorful 67th Republic Day celebrations at DBTECH, Ongole. The celebrations began with flag hoisting at 9 am by Mr. Sridhar, the state coordinator for DBTECH with all the students of DB Tech.
Different competitions were organised for students to mark this great event of republic day. This was to help students to cultivate a deep love for our country and to help them to become responsible citizens. All the students were divided into four groups for the completion. Different competitions were ogrnised, Saluting the National Flag, Dressing Bharatha Matha, Group Drawing Competition, Assembling the Picture, Yell, Passing the Message, Ex temporary Speech, Drawing the Map of India, Singing etc.
The students were very much involved in the competition and participated whole heartedly. The programs helped the students to bring out their creativity and talents. Sr. Vijayaranni, the principal of St. Xavier Junior College, Ongole was the Chief Guest. Sr. Showrilu, the principal of St. Xavier School, Fr. Yesu Ratnam and Mr. Sridhar were the judges and Guests of honor. Their presence and messages encouraged and motivated the students to become good, honest and responsible citizens of our great nation.
