DB Academy, 23 Feb 2016: Fr. Thathireddy Vijay Bhaskar SDB the Provincial of St. Joseph Province of Hyderabad, blessed and laid the foundation stone for Don Bosco Junior College on 23 February, at Don Bosco Academy, Nalgonda. The foundation stone blessing was attended by Fr. Anand the Rector and all other fathers, brothers, sisters, staff and the students. Speaking on the occasion, Fr. Provincial thanked Fr.Anand the Rector of the community for his initiative and efforts to work for the poor and the marginalized youth of Nalgonda locality. He also thanked Fr. Balashwory, the principal and all other religious and Salesians for their constant support and guidance to start the college.
Speaking to the audience, Fr. Anand thanked Fr. Provincial and all the benefactors who gave their generous contribution for the construction of the college. Fr. Vijay the principal of Don Bosco Junior College welcomed and thanked everyone for their encouraging presence. The function was brief but meaningful as it marked the beginning of a work for the benefit of the needy youth of Nalgonda district.
