Vision Building for the Province
The Province of St. Joseph, Hyderabad in its provincial chapter nine, following the spirit of the congregation, had asked for the revival of the perpetually professed confreres meet. This was a welcome change as all the confreres who are perpetually professed came together to discuss and plan for the year on 1 June 2016 at Don Bosco Provincial House, Hyderabad. The Leaders of the different communities, sectors and centers
also met with the same scope and with the same intent on the 3 and 4 June 2016 at the same venue.
This was a wonderful exercise of vision building and planning. It was indeed a grace filled time. Primarily, it was a beautiful expression of our fraternity and of our Salesian family spirit. The warm and serene atmosphere which the confreres created was a sure sign of acceptance of each other. The grace filled discussions and meaningful interactions, were expressions of the confreres desire to move together towards a brighter future. There was great openness to discuss the issues and the situations which challenge the province. These days of fraternal communion and vision building were surely a GIANT STEP, towards change,
as it has helped cultivate a collective responsibility to take necessary steps towards transformation.
