Don Bosco College, Chandur, Nalgonda, 15 August 2019: Don Boco College had celebrated 73rd Independence day very solemnly and honoured all the freedom fighters in its premises. One of the past pupils of the college was the chief guest, Mr Praveen, MBBS. His presence has doubled the joy and he spoke bravely on “freedom” and stressed on live and let live. He appreciated the college and the lecturers for their service who focus on the wellbeing of the students. His recalled the education that he received from his beloved teachers at Don Bosco College, as a boy and that knowledge has moulded him to be a successful doctor in medicine today. The entire crowd of students and teachers were taken aback by his nostalgic experiences of his college days.

The correspondent, Rev. Fr Raminedi Balaraju and other priests of the community were also present for this great event. Fr Thalla Wilson in his message presented India as a largest democratic nation in the world and thus invited everyone to live and act as proud Indians. The Independence Day celebration ended with lots of cultural activities dances, playlets and with patriotic hymns.
