St Francis Xavier’s Church, Borabanda, 6 April 2020: In response to the call given by the government to all registered societies, in view of helping people who are affected by sudden lock-down to control Covid-19, St Francis Xavier ‘ Church came forward to express common brotherhood and solidarity with neighbours in providing them essential food kits. Fr Papaiah, the Parish Priest along with Fr Upendar, the assistant Parish Priest distributed food kit to nearly 50 needy families in the parish on 6th and 7th April 2020. The families were soothed, and burden was lessened through this gesture of love towards neighbour in action.
