Kristu Jyothi College, Bangalore, 19 March 2020: Clerics Salibindla Praveen and Pale Justin of the Province of St Joseph along with other 23 clerics from various provinces of India were ordained as deacons by His Lordship Rev. Peter Machado, the Archbishop of Bangalore, in its private chapel in Kristu Jyothi College at 7.00 am on 19th March 2020.
It was solemn and a well-organized ceremony. The relatives and parents (Few in number due to Covid-19 effect) together with Salesian priests from different communities along with other religious participated in the ceremony. It was indeed an auspicious day in the lives of the deacons as this was the most important milestone in their journey towards Salesian priesthood.
