Don Bosco Pre-Novitiate, Wyra, 19 March 2020: The Province of St Joseph (INH) is quite silent because of the quarantine period due to corona virus Covid-19. Nevertheless, the feast of silent Saint Joseph to whom our province is dedicated was not forgotten here at Don Bosco, Wyra. The Pre-Novices had a quiet devout celebration combining it with the 43rd ordination anniversary of Fr Sebastian John. At the offertory, the sixteen Pre-novices submitted their application forms for admission to the Novitiate. The two clerics Br Kranthi Raj and Br Velangini too submitted their application forms for renewal of their vows.
The Salesian sisters participated in the Holy Eucharist. There was a cake cutting ceremony during which Fr Sebastian was congratulated and thanked for his inspirational Salesian priestly life, for his presence and the service that he renders to the community.
