Don Bosco Provincial House, Hyderabad, 25 September 2020: Rev. Fr Biju Michael’s maiden visit to the Salesian Province of Hyderabad as the Regional for South Asia is a blessing to the confreres. After his visit to the Karnataka region, he is on his way to Kerala for the consultation for the provincial of Bangalore province. His visit reassures not just the confreres in the Provincial House, but also, all the Salesians in the Province.
Fr Thathireddy Vijaya Bhaskar, the Provincial welcomed Fr Biju with other confreres from the Provincial House and BIRDY communities.
He spent an hour in the campus. He was affectionate and indeed happy to meet and interact with everyone with a glowing smile on his face. He was alight with joy as the Provincial House campus resembled Valdocco with a presence of a Home, a Church, a School and a Playground/Oratory.
A splendid breakfast was served amidst sharing of news and views with the twin communities. Fr Biju had a quick visit to BIRDY, the Province Youth Animation Centre and the Secretariat of the Province: Youth Zone, DB Pravahini, Publishing House, Vocation Promotion Desk, etc. He also visited the Don Bosco Shrine and prayed for the Province, after which he left for the airport.
We thank him for this visit and look forward to his official visit in the near future.
