27 May 2021, Don Bosco, Muniguda, Odisha: Don Bosco, Muniguda (Odisha) had offered a unique free Food Ration Kits distribution to as many people as possible including the Migrants labourers, slums, rag pickers, beggars, road side vendors and Tribal families, affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, and in need of support.

On 24th to 26th May, 2021, Don Bosco Muniguda with the support of Bosco Seva Kendra, Hyderabad distributed Food Ration Kits with essential food Materials (Rice, Dal, Cooking oil, Fruits, Vegetables, Masks and Biscuits) to 300 families. Fr P. Arul Das SDB, Director, Spearheaded the Programme with the collaboration of the community members. The Salesians visited the Bosco Study Centres (tuition centres) in the tribal villages and distributed fruits to all the children. The Children of the tuition centre were all enthused to see us. It is desired that the ‘little act of charity’ would influence more people to become generous in the coming days.
