Vibrant Annual College Day at Don Bosco Philosophate

The philosophers of Vishwa Jyothi Don Bosco College, karunapuram celebrated their annual college day on 24 of november. The day began  with the Holy Banquet celebrated by Fr Joji Reddy, the Principle of Vidya Jyothi Degree and PG College. He enlightened the students with enriching thoughts from Philosophical, Psychological and Spiritual view points and encouraged them to be alert to the current realities of the world which bring forth different kinds of experiences to life.

In the evenings cultural programme commenced with a prayer dance in which we invoked God’s blessings on all the participants. Fr. Rayanna, the Rector invited the chief guest Dr. Rajaiah, MLA of Ghanpur Constituency and the congregation officially. The chief guest then gave away the prizes to the winners of sports events, debate and cultural day competitions conducted in the college. He also made inspiring speech exhorting the students to be alert to the fast changing situations which diluted the morale and ethics of the society. A value based one act play staged by Philosophers on “Abortion” was appreciated the most. There were also cultural oriented dances and songs that exhibited the mosaic culture of Vishwa Jyothi college as it stands for universality and inclusivity. Indeed it was a moment of togetherness, fraternal communion, sharing of different tastes which would be bound only in love, the source of everything.
