Mariapuram, January 6,2013: The inauguration of St Antony's Church at Jogayapalli village, one of the substations of Don Bosco Mission at Mariapuram, Warangal is solemnly celebrated on Sunday morning. The Arch Bishop Most Rev. Thumma Bala, the guest of honour has inaugurated the church and presided over the Holy Eucharist in the Presence of  Fr Thathireddy Vijaya Bhaskar the Vice Provincial of the Salesian Province of Hyderabad, Fr. Maniyangattuthazhe Joseph the parish priest, few other priests, sisters and hundreds of Catholic Devotees. The inaugural function is initiated with the blessing of  the new grotto of Mary Help of Christians installed at the entrance of the Church. During the sermon the Arch Bishop insisted exhorted the faithful to deepen their faith in Christ Jesus, and invited them to pray the Holy Rosary every day in the church premises. As a token of gratitude a small felicitation programme was arranged for the bishop and the other priests present by the parishners of the village. The Arch Bishop congratulated the Parish Priest and the faithful for their hard work in constructing the beautiful Church. He prayed for the people who helped to build the Church and talked to the faithful after the programme. A festive atmostphere permiated the village it is filled with celebrations from dawn to dusk.
