The Groups and Movements DBYA – SA (Don Bosco Youth Animation in South Asia) meet on the topic, "Guidelines for Don Bosco Youth Groups" was held on 4 to 6 of march at Don Bosco provincial house Hyderabad. Delegates from 10 provinces of Salesian India joined hands together for this meet. Fr Thathireddy Vijaya Bhaskar, the Vice Provincial, initiated this three day meet at 9:30 in the morning. Everyone looked cheerful as they came in for the meet but behind their smiles lay a serious service oriented acumen.
Members of the meet organized themselves to confer upon and draw an outline of a hand book for Catholic youth groups in Salesian settings. Reporting about the details of successfully implemented programs in youth ministries, eliciting feed back, sharing of ideas on youth ministry today and resources for the enhancement of the mission were the other lines of action followed during this meet. The sessions were entirely interactive and result oriented. "We worked together; our ideas are formulated into practical guidelines and the purpose of the meeting is achieved" says Fr Donthi reddy Raja, the youth animator of the province of Hyderabad. A short visit to Ramoji Film City on 5th had given sufficient respite for the confreres to resume their mission vigorously on the last day. The hospitality of the host community was duly acknowledged and appreciated as the delegates left for their respective Provinces to put in practice the learnings of this meet.
