Birdy, Hyderabad, 11 December 2023: In a strategic initiative to enhance youth ministry, an online meeting led by Fr Yeruva Joji successfully united 18 Youth Coordinators, fostering collaboration and synergizing efforts across the Province. This gathering aimed to ensure more cohesive and impactful youth ministry activities, aligning efforts to better serve the needs of young individuals.

The meeting commenced with a heartfelt welcome and an opening prayer, seeking divine inspiration for their deliberations and future youth ministry endeavours. A significant portion of the session was devoted to a thorough review of the current state of youth ministry, providing a platform for coordinators to exchange insights, achievements, and challenges encountered in their work. The objective was to pinpoint strengths and growth opportunities, aiming for a ministry that continually adapts and effectively meets the evolving needs of the youth.

A key discussion point was the “Echoes: Youth Synods of our province,” allowing for reflection on the outcomes of recent synods and exploring how these insights could be woven into the ministry’s overarching strategy. The synods, pivotal in capturing the voices and aspirations of the youth, offered valuable perspectives to refine the ministry’s approach to youth engagement.

The meeting wrapped up with a ‘Varia’ session, an open forum for coordinators to discuss miscellaneous yet pertinent issues, innovative ideas, upcoming projects, and events. This segment highlighted the dynamic nature of youth ministry and the necessity for continuous innovation and adaptation.

Under Fr Yeruva Joji’s leadership, the meeting transcended mere administrative purposes, reaffirming a united commitment to the holistic development of young people. By championing cooperation and the exchange of best practices, the assembly underscored the critical role of collective effort in youth ministry. Departing with a revitalized purpose and clearer strategy, the coordinators are now poised to implement the discussed insights and approaches, aiming to significantly benefit the youth throughout the Province.
