Karunapuram, 15th August 2015: The memorial Eucharist was celebrated in honour of Fr. Chinnappa Thomas sdb in the chapel of Don Bosco Philosophate Karunapuram on 15th April 2015 at 10.30 a.m. Several priests and religious from the neighboring communities attended the function. Fr. Raminedi Balaraju, the Provincial was the main celebrant. In his short and precise homily told that Fr. Chinnappa Thomas was a passionate lover of the poor and the underprivileged.
He also said that Fr. Thomas was a very focused person and nothing could distract him from his mission. Fr. Thathireddy Vijaya Bhaskar, the Vice-Provincial, Fr. K.S. Joseph and Bro. Gregory also spoke on the occasion.
The choir was at its best. Fr. Sojan Puthussery, the Economer proposed the vote of thanks. A sumptuous lunch was chefed out by Fr. Prathap, the administrator of Don Bosco Philosophate Karunapuram.
