Vishakhapatnam, 2015: DB Tech is the largest NGO in skill development sector spread across 28 states of India, it has 305 skill training centres in India. Since 2006 DB Tech India has trained more than 2 lakhs youth and facilitated employment for 70%-80% of the candidates. DB Tech mission is to train 2 million youth by 2020.
The Vizag Navajeevan Bala Bhavan has two DB Tech Centers. DB Tech Centre at Alipuram has Retail and Sales domain, 30 youngsters are trained for every 3 months. DB Tech Centre, Sabbavaram has two domains, Hospitality (30 trainees) and BPO (30 trainees) it also trains 60 youngsters every three months. On 27-28 April Fr P. Arul Das, DB Tech Province Incharge and Mr. Sridhar, DB Tech State Coordinator had Mid Batch Assessment visit to the centres.
The Province Incharge had conducted a motivational game for the students which focused the students to understand the importance of “unity”. He explained about the 3 C’s which are very important for the better growth of any individual. They are: 1. CONVICTION 2. COMPETENCE 3. COMMITMENT. These 3 C’s helps the person to have a better standard of life. The Province Incharged thanked Fr. T.V Thomas and Fr. Ratna & Trainers for the cooperation in implementing DBTEC projects in different centres in Vishakhapatnam.
