DBNJ, Ramanthapur, Hyderabad: The summer camp for year 2015 is inaugurated for the High School children at Don Bosco Navajeevan, Ramanthapur by Fr Thathireddy Vijaya Bhaskar, Vice Provincial of St. Joseph Province, Hyderabad on May 1st 2015 and Ms Katie, visitor from USA inaugurated camp at Don Bosco Navajeevan, Nampa lly for the kids who are below 10 years. Summer Camp is the time to learn new things and to bring out their hidden talents.
Fr Philip the chief of camp has welcomed Vice Provincial and the gathering. He emphasized that the month of May should make a difference in their life and should have unforgettable experience to bring out their talents and learning in a group with the attitude of team spirit. Bro Pradeep also presented the staff to the students who will be accompanying them during the summer camp. Director of DBNJ, Fr Sudhakar said that we have gathered here with two purposes, first to thank Vice Province for accepting our invitation to be our chief guest for the occasion and as a community to felicitate him as he is being transferred to Rome to be member of the Youth Pastoral team, second reason is to inaugurate our camp. This summer camp should help them to be Punctual, Discipline and keeping themselves clean & Healthy. In his concluding words he also reminded to the participants the words of Don Bosco, “Play, Run, Jump but do not sin”.
Vice Provincial in his address expressed his happiness to be with the children and it is always a special feeling to be with the children at Navajeevan. He invited them to make use of this opportunity to learn new things not just for fun but for life. Navajeevan has brought out success stories from the street to screen. He also thanked community for the cooperation extended to him. The inaugural programme came to end with a thoughtful cultural programme organized by brothers especially the theme song with a message of divine protection is stronger than evil protection and only through the divine intervention we will have serene life. In a simple inauguration of summer camp at DBNJ, Nampally was done by the visitor Ms Katie from USA. She said that make use of the every opportunity given to them during the camp. We thank Bro Yohan and Sr Victoria for following and helping in the camp.
