Narsipatnam, 25th July 2015: The Don Bosco College, Narsipatnam had its college inaugural day in the presence of Most Rev. Archbishop Mallvarapu Prakash, as the chief guest. He was welcomed with a traditional tribal dance which was performed by the students and also he blessed the newly set up library. The Archbishop unveiled the plaque bearing inscriptions of names of the donors. The Rector, Fr. Rayappa briefed the Archbishop about the activities of the college and its academic progress. The archbishop expressed his happiness at being associated with this institution and wished this institution a steady growth in strength and dynamism. He exhorted the students to acknowledge the efforts of the church’s mission and utilize the educational opportunities. The college is proud to acknowledge the blessing of having a full pledged library, furnished with the-art equipment of reading-tables, computers, e-resources, and a variety of books for different level of learners, including the researchers.
