Nalgonda, 17 October 2015: The DB Academy, Nalgonda has hosted the 61 State level Chess and Yoga tournament cum National level selections organized by the School Games Federation (SGF), Nalgonda from 17 -19 October, 2015. Around 700 students from the 10 districts of Telangana State participated in this event. The District Collector declared open the tournament on 17 October amidst the August presence of the MLC, additional collector, SP, DEO, officials of SGI, Telangana and other dignitaries.
Students representing their districts marched in Unison and Saluted 
the dignitaries. 11 Students of the DB academy have appeared in the tournament for the Nalgonda district. Shri Pula Ravindar, Honorable MLC Congratulated Rector and the management of the DB academy for its KG to PG working model which the present Government is trying to bring in to the educational module.
