On 19 March, 2018, the solemnity of St. Joseph, the patron of the Province of Hyderabad, we had the joy of the diaconate ordination of three of our Confreres: Cl. Jangala Upender, Cl. Salibindla Marreddy and Cl. Yeruva Inna Reddy Kristu Jyothi College, Bangalore.
On 19 March, 2018, in a simple celebration at the Kristu Jyothi College Chapel, 25 candidates – 19 Salesians from 6 different provinces, including Cl. Jangala Upender, Cl. Salibindla Marreddy and Cl. Yeruva Inna Reddy from our province and 6 from other religious orders (Somascans, Pierists, Sylvestrines and Sacred Hearts) received the Diaconate Ordination, conferred by Archbishop Bernard Moras. The solemn yet sober Holy E ucharist was concelebrated by 107 priests and other religious also participated in the same. Fr Thathireddy 
Vijaya Bhaskar, the Provincial of the Salesian Province of Hyderabad was present for this celebration. We thank God for the blessing of these three new deacons for our Province. It is also our duty to thank the Rector Fr Kandakavil James and the whole formation team for guiding these young Salesians to this important milestone in their lives.
