On 15 December 2018, Deacon Neelam Naresh sdb was ordained a Saleisian Priest at Ambedkar Nagar, Pinapaka by Most Rev. Maipan Paul. D.D., the Bishop of Khammam. Fr Naresh hails from Ambedkar Nagar, Pinapaka (Vil) Wyra Mandal. He finished his schooling at Don Bosco School, Pinapaka. It was during his High School studies that he felt within himself the desire of dedicating his life for Christ in Don Bosco way. After the succeful  completion of his studies at Pinapaka, he joined the aspirantate at Gunadala, Vijayawada. There he completed his intermediate and pre-Novitiate course. He did a year of novitiate at Sacred Heart Novitiate, Manoharabad and made first profession on 24th May 2008. He completed his Bachelor of Philosophy and Bachelor of Arts at Don Bosco Philosophate, Karunapuram. After  this, he was sent to Nashik to do M.Ph. He completed his theological studies at Sacred Heart Theology, Shilong.

It was the day that the entire parish community was eagerly waiting for. The  Parish community, was filed  with joy and enthusiam to welcome their spiritual son who will be ordained as priest in few hours. The entire campus was filled with prayerful atmosphere. The Holy Eucharist began at 11 am, presided by Most Rev. Maipan Paul, Bishop of Khammam. Rev. Fr. Thathireddy Vijaya Bhaskar (Provincial of Hyderabad Province)  Rev Fr. Thomas Santiago (Vice-Provincial), Salesians from different communities of our privince, diocesan clergy,  and  religious from various Congregation took part in the Holy Eucharist. The presence of the priests and religious encouraged  the faithful to take part in the celebration meaningfull. All of them invoked blessings of God upon newly ordained priest Fr .Naresh, wishing him fruitful priestly ministry in the vineyard of the  Lord.

The motto of Fr. Neelam Naresh, “Broken and  Shared” (St. Mt 26:26), reminds us the last supper of Jesus with his disciples, where He broke the bread and gave to disciples to eat and to do that gesture forever in His remembers  of him.

   After the ordination Fr N. Naresh, the newly ordained priest filled with the Spirit of Joy  thanked God immensely for choosing him to be his minister of Word and Sacraments. Then he thanked the Bishop, his parents, Superious, formators, teachers and all the faithful of the parish for the role that they have played in his life and for the prayers offered for him during the ordination celebration.
