Don Bosco, Ongole, 11 August 2019: Don Bosco Ongole had organized a youth day on the occasion of the international youth day. All the youngsters relished the day and enjoyed it to the full being youthful with several activities. Nearly 150 youth were present for this celebration.
In the morning Fr Sleeva entertained the youngsters with lot of party songs and creative actions, in which the youth participated with lot of interest.
The occasion was alighted with the presence of the chief guest Sri. Munipalli Rajesh, the two town Circle Inspector. He felt privileged to be part of the celebrations and thanked the community for inviting him. He appreciated our work in this locality and enthused the youth to do their studies or work with lot of commitment and dedication. As the theme for the international youth day 2019, “transforming education” the Circle Inspector exhorted the youth to transform their lives with the education that they received. Later, the retired S.I Allah Bhaksh and Mr Sudhakar Rao encouraged the youth to be a loving youth in their families and responsible citizens in the society. Finally, Fr Jose K, the Rector thanked the guests for their availability and insisted that the youngsters should do their best for the country without expecting anything in return from the country.
The celebration was concluded with distribution of the prizes to the winners of the cricket tournament.
