Don Bosco Navajeevan, Vijayawada, 24-30 August 2019: Don Bosco Navajeevan, Vijayawada organized a Weeklong Campaign on Anti Human and Child Trafficking from 24th to 30th of August 2019 through Praja Chaithanya Radham.
The chariot of public consciousness has been inaugurated by Most Rev. Dr Thelagathoti Joseph Raja Rao, Bishop of Vijayawada Diocese, as part of Anti Human and Anti Child Trafficking Weeklong Celebrations by Navajeevan Bala Bhavan with the collaboration of Women and Child Welfare Department.
The purpose of the Chariot Awareness was to conscientise people in and around Vijayawada, as well as in Penamaluru Mandal. The Chariot Awareness meant to show how this trafficking has been on its rise and the methods to eradicate this social evil in the society.
Besides this chariot inauguration, Anti-Human and Anti-Child trafficking Wall Poster has been released.
The Chief Guest Most Rev. Dr T Joseph Raja Rao, Bishop of Vijayawada Diocese, the Distinguished Guest Rev. Fr Thathireddy Vijaya Bhaskar, Provincial, Province of St Joseph, Hyderabad have made the programme livelier with their energetic presence. DBNJBB Executive Director Fr Rathna Kumar and Formal Education Director Fr Jose have facilitated “A Weeklong Campaign on Anti Human and Child Trafficking”.
