Don Bosco College, Peddabodepalli, Narsipatnam, 24 August 2019: Don Bosco Peddabodepalli blessed with the Salesian Cooperators who are members for numerous years who came forward voluntarily to serve in the vineyard of the Lord. Along with the memory of Mary Help of Christians, every month, Fr Benny, the Rector explained the importance and intention of Don Bosco in founding Association of Salesian Cooperators (ASC). ASC is the movement of laity of the Salesian Family of Don Bosco. The movement was created with the purpose to share the ideals of the Salesian Preventive System in the education of young people, especially those who are poorest, without the need to be a priest or a lay religious.
There were fifteen ASC Members who took an oath to be part of the Salesian Family during the Eucharistic Celebration. Fr Benny congratulated them and thanked them for being part of ASC. As a token of gratitude, they were gifted with a sapling at the end of Eucharist. He also blessed them that God may bless them and their good intentions.
