St Paul’s Seminary, Nuzvid, 5 September 2019: Salesian Co-operators of Nuzvid organized their usual monthly meeting on 5th September 2019 with the local animator Fr Gangarapu Anil sdb. However, 5th September marked a special day commemorating the feast of St Mother Teresa and Teachers’ day, had a glimpse of an opportunity to hold the meeting aptly. It started with a short prayer after which the article 33 of PAL was read and Fr Gangarapu Anil gave a reflection on this article about the importance of prayer life, daily reading of the bible and frequenting the Church to receive the Lord. He also spoke about the importance of service with love as St Mother Teresa did in her life and finally he appreciated the service rendered by the teachers of the Salesian Co-operator’s Unit with a Salesian spirit.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and the agenda of the day was explained by the local coordinator Mr P Jojappa. They fixed the dates for monthly prayers on Wednesdays of the month and on 24th. They reminded to the unit about the tailoring training centre which is started in Vattigudipadu last week. One of the co-operators Mr Charles has requested to start another training of this tailoring in the village where he is the catechist and all agreed to do it in a week’s time. Province coordinator Mr B Joseph reminded them about the forth coming general body meeting of all the co-operators on 26th of October and releasing of the Telugu translation of the PAL on that day. The financial status of the unit was presented to the group and the meeting concluded with prayer and cake cutting by the teachers of the unit.
