Thus, as a measure of social distancing and to contain the spread of the virus, the Salesians Fr Barigala Arokia Nathan, the Rector, Fr Manthuruthil Abraham, the administrator and Fr Bandha Suresh, the Principal (CBSE) at Don Bosco School, Guntupalli vowed to help these construction workers and many families in and around Guntupalli. Consequently, the essential groceries suite that consisted Rice, Dal, Oil, Sugar, Tamarind, Salt, Chilli powder were distributed to 40 families of constructed workers from Odisha and Srikakulam who pitched their tents in the campus itself; 24 families in Ibrahimpatnam; and 15 families in Suryalanka and Kazipet.

The motive was to understand that prevailing circumstances of the daily or contract wage earners are the worst-hit because they are dependent on their daily earnings to meet the basic needs.
