Don Bosco Navajeevan, Punganur, 9 April 2020: As Covid-19 Pandemic spreading all over the world and in the country, the Salesian community at Pungranur extended a small help to all the School Children through a Provision Kit. The Salesians have prepared 260 Provision Kits and delivered to the homes of don Bosco School students personally. The beneficiaries are from the villages of Punganur, Samplalli, Muthukur, Peddavelagatur, Mittapalli, Ramapuram, Mellamdoddi, Balaguruvapalli, Pichuguntlapalli, Rajupalli, NS Peta, Singirigunta, Aravapalli, Kurakapalli, Aaradigunta and Marlapalli. Since most the students are economically poor, a greater need was felt to little help them from the part of the school management. The parents received the daily necessary groceries happily and expressed their gratitude for this service during these difficult times amid lock-down.
Don Bosco thanks the benevolent Province and its Development Office Bosco Seva Kendra (BSK) for being an aid in carrying out this humanitarian service to the poorest of the poor in and around Punganur.
