Bosco Seva Kendra, 14 April 2020: Bosco Seva Kendra, the Province Development Office (BSK), has been actively involved in coordinating the relief services in Telugu speaking states and in South Odisha and in twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad as well in collaboration with Civil Society Organizations (CSO), the latter being trained by BSK since September 2019.
Therefore, as part of the relief services BSK staff and the volunteers have reached Kukkatpally locality, in particular Prakasham Panthulu Nagar, Rajiv Swagruha Township and Mettekanigudem and distributed food, nutrition, health safety kits for the most deserving 80 families, on a day when the nation remembers Dr B.R Ambedkar, the father of Indian Constitution, who relentlessly worked for the downtrodden and the destitutes. The BSK staff have instructed the local coordinator Smt Sandhya Priyanka not to gather people in groups to maintain social distance, the proper use face masks and frequent hand wash. Consequently, the coordinator along with other volunteers motivated the people to take precautions to drive away the virus as instructed by BSK.
