PARA, Rajahmundry, 9 April 2020: Peoples Action for Rural Awakening (PARA) was established solely for the upliftment of the agricultural and landless labourers. PARA has been on the forefront in emergency situations to reach out the neediest in united Andhra Pradesh at Konaseema Region. The Director Fr Vattigunta Ignatius coordinated with Government and Non-Government organizations to fight against Covid-19 around Rajahmundry area.
PARA in association with District Legal Service Authorities (DLSA) distributed Grocery Kit (Rice-10 Kg; Dal-1kg; Onion-2Kg; Oil-1 Ltr, Pulses-1Pkt; Vegetables) at Vemagiri, Quarry Market and Jangala Colony in Rajahmundry. The total number of beneficiaries were 291. Honouble District judge Shri B Sai Kalyan Chakravarthy, the Secretary, Smt KVL Hima Bindhu, District Probation Officer, DPO, Mr Ameer Pasha, Staff-PARA, Mr Ravi Kumar – Childline coordinator and other Childline staff were present for the Distribution Avenue.
