Don Bosco Philosophate, Karunapuram, 17 April 2020: Don Bosco Karunapuram Community reached out to 50 families in Vangalapalli and 30 families in Karunapuram. Fr Vatti Rayappa Reddy, Rector addressed 80 families saying “Manava seve madhava seva.” He exhorted all the families to stay at home and keep the orders given by the Government about the measures to fight against Covid-19. The beneficiaries kept distance maintain the Social Distance and received (5kg Rice, 1kg Dal, 1kg Oil, 1kg Onions, 1kg Surf, 10 Parle-G Biscuits and 2 Bathing Soaps) a little help extended to them.
Mr Pradeep the President of the village thanked the community on behalf of the village for the help and the generosity received. He also reminded the people to stay at home, for it is the only way to put an end to the Covid-19 the monster. Thus, the community and the staff have reached out to 80 poor families at this dearth need of the hour. Dignitaries Shri Chilipuri Mandal (Sub-Inspector), S. Srinivas, Naskhal MPTC, Mrs Shirisha, Vangalapalli President, Aruri Pradeep and Karunapuram TRSP President Sika Ravi were present.
