DBHRDC, Gagillapur, Hyderabad, 23 December 2019: Christmas is Celebration that is celebrated by over a billion people worldwide. Christmas is the time for family and friends to come together, and there is no better way to get in the merry spirit than celebrating together. This Semi Christmas, at Don Bosco was joyful where all gathered to celebrate the enthusiasm of this amazing Nativity with the colours of fun and fervour.
Adding together, it was a Priestly Ordination Anniversary of Fr Bellamkonda Sudhakar, Director, DBHRDC. The celebration was graced by the appearance of guests of honour Fr Satiagu Thomas, the vice Provincial and Fr Salagala Rajesh, Province Secretary. Their presence animated the festive ambience even more magical for the children. The Holy Eucharist was presided over by Fr Sudhakar at 10.30 am. In his homily, he told that we need to relearn what it is to live by the living words that come from the mouth of God. This is the transformation signaled by the new life of Bethlehem. It truly brings hope this Christmas. The Crib prepared and decorated by the inmates was blessed by Fr Santiago. The students enthused everyone with cultural programme especially with their meaningful carol songs. The well-wishers and benefactors of the institution Ms Annie and Ms Regina and Mr Ivan, Coordinator-Dhisha distributed Christmas gifts to the students. The Religious and Priests and a few Diocesan Clergy were also present for the programme.
Later, Fr Sarath Parri, in charge of the DBHRDC organized a Past Pupils’ Meet on this day to issue certificate of course completion and to build Past Pupils Association.
