DBHRDC, Church Gagillapur, 8 May 2020: Don Human Resource Development Centre is a training centre for dropout youth. It has been training such youth both boys and girls since 2010. Several youth have passed out from this institution from unskilled to skilled trainees. However, DBHRDC was not really known to the surrounding areas of Dundigal Mandal of Medchel District.
Covid-19 has created visibility of the institution to serve the neediest poor migrants and daily labourers. These relief services are recognized by the Muncipal Commissioner of Dundigal and other prominent leaders. Prior to this, DBHRDC and its management was invited by the Muncipal Commissioner Shri Suresh Garu for requesting to reach out to the neediest in the purview of Muncipality especially in the vicinity of Church of Gagillapur. Fr P Sarath personally met the Commissioner and accepted his invitation to help the people. Fr Sarath and his team along with Josphine Sudhakar Reddy, the local Corporator and the collaborators distributed dry ration food kits for 500 deserving families. While talking to media, Fr Sarath told that the distribution was possible with the cooperation and support of Fr Thathireddy Vijaya Bhaskar, and Fr Bellamkonda Sudhakar, the President and Executive Director of Bosco Seva Kendra Society respectively
