20 March 2021, Don Bosco School, Gunadala: Don Bosco School has organized first physical parent meeting after one year on 20.03.21 at 11.15am. The response was excellent, 80% of parents were present for the meeting. The PTA meeting was on the theme: Boost the Parent Involvement.
The meeting started with the prayer invoking God’s blessings upon every parent and the staff, followed by a personal impression of the school by eighth class student.
Later Fr Bhaskar, the Principal let the meeting by greeting all the parents with positive note and energy. In the meeting the principal appreciated the parents for their support during the year of COVID-19. He also had a discussion with the parents about the children’s intellectual and physical conditions before and during Covid-19. He also brought to the notice of the parents the changes that occurred in the children due to the absence to the School. Principal suggested to the parents about special Revision Classes for all the students for classes 1st to 8th to bring them to the certain standards in the month of April. Therefore, he encouraged all the parents to send the students physically to the school. He urged the parents to follow all the guidelines given by the Andhra Pradesh government to safeguard the children from Corona.
At the end of the meeting principal appreciated the staff for successful completion of year of online classes. He also shared the good news of the school getting affiliation to CBSE New Delhi.
Before closing of the meeting, the principal has given time for parents to speak, the parents expressed their doubts and principal clarified their doubts. The meeting ended at 12.15pm.
