Gagillapur, 3 August 2015: The Annual batch Review was held on 3rd August at church Gagillapur, Hyderabad. The trainers from all over the centers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were present.
The meeting was organized by Fr. Arul das, Mr. Sridhar Kottur and Fr. Arul Maran, Director of Don Bosco Skill Mission, Bangalore. He is also the in charge of DB Tech for five states namely Kerala, Karnataka, Goa, Tamil nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
The review had begun at 9:00 AM. Before the beginning of the meet, it was made mandatory for all the trainers to carry their past batch activities in the form of hardcopies like Trainees’ Data, Guest Lecture Reports, Field Visit Reports, Placement Data, Offer Letters, Success Stories and the report of Parents meet. Initially Fr. Arul Das extended a warm welcome to our honorable chief guest and to the trainers. Fr. Arul Maran had taken the privilege of addressing the trainers. During the review he explained about “Facility Management” and made a clarification on batch review saying that the “batch reviews must be conducted within 15 days of the batch completion.”
During the review the teams of each center were made to answer a couple of questions regarding their trainees of last batch. They were given an opportunity to explain about the Strengths and Weaknesses of their respective centers and the problems they are facing at present. He discussed a couple of issues with the trainers regarding the trainees and training centers. He suggested the trainers to organize talents day and invite parents. He insisted the trainers to motivate the students to migrate as it helps them to secure their future. Later, he discussed about the yearly plan of action which every center must follow and revise it at regular time intervals. He advised the trainers to reduce the batch to batch gap to a maximum of 20 days. On a whole the review made the trainers understand their actual obligations towards the trainees and the Organization.
