“I have called you by name, you are mine.” (Isaiah 43:1) is the priestly motto of Dn. Jinugu Vidya Sagar. This year the Province of St. Joseph, Hyderabad is blessed to have one priest. He was ordained by Rt. Rev. Dr. Maipan Paul, Bishop of Khammam on 5th January 2018. Bishop in his homily highlighted the importance of anointing with Holy Spirit in the life of priest. It was indeed simple and meaningful celebration.
Fr Thathireddy Vijaya Bhaskar, Provincial wished that Fr Jinugu Vidya Sagar be a committed and dedicated Salesian priest sharing in the priesthood of Christ. Present was also Fr Kadankavil Jame
s, the Rector of Kristu Jyoti College, Bangalore, numerous Salesians of the Province. A short felicitation programme was also held on this occasion. Fr Reddipudi Francis – Parish Priest, Community Sisters of St Ann’s Bangalore,
Salesian Sisters, diocesan clergy, parish elders and faithful were present and were in support of Fr
Jinugu Vidaya Sagar. He has expressed his gratitude to God and to all those who were instrumental in reaching the path of priesthood.
