Echoes (nee palukule) 2019….. ‘Telangana State Youth Faith Fest’ 2019 was successfully organized and animated for three days from 08 to 10 Febrauary, 2019 at Don Bosco Navajeevan Ramanthapur, Hyderabad for all the Catholic youth of the Telangana Region.
The three day program was conducted in response to the Synod on Youth, which called the catholic church to accompany the youth and guide them in path of vocational discernment. The Program was well animated by eminent speakers like Shri Venugopala rao, the former principal secretory to PM, Most Rev. Thumma Bala DD Archbishop of Hyderabad and Rt.Rev. Polimera Jaya Rao, D.D, Bishop of Eluru and Incharge Bishop for Youth Pastoral and other Priests and Religious. The Youth Faith Fest was also made special with the presence of “Echoes of Zion’ a gospel band from Mumbai. The enriched the praise and worship with their melodies and joyful singing.
The adoration and confession evening was indeed an important moment as almost all the young people present made their confession. The gospel based cultural evening and the other activities got the young people involved, who actively participated in all the competitions.
We would like to thank and appreciate all the people who made this great event possible: Fr Thathireddy Vijaya Bhaskar, provincial, Fr Thomas Santiagu, the Vice Provincial, Fr Remalla Thomas, Rector of DBNJ, Ramanthapur and all the other collaboratos. This event was a success due to the meticulous planning and execution of the plan.
The Young who participated in this event, left energized and closer to Christ. They will be awaiting ECHOES -2, the coming year.
