Muniguda, Odisha: 14 June 2019: A two day training programme for village catechists was organized by Don Bosco Parish, Muniguda. The parish has 32 sub-stations spread far and wide. Every month the parish conducts training programme for the village catechists, its main objective is to impart them basics of catholic faith, rituals and rubrics of Catholic Church and to explain to them four Sunday’s readings of the month. This month the training programme was held on 13 and 14 June. On 13th June, Fr Anil, the parish priest animated on the basics of Catholic faith and on 14th June, Fr Sony Cyriac celebrated Holy Eucharist for the Catechists and preached about the importance of Word of God. Fr P. Arul Das, the Rector spoke to the catechists. Fr Anil and Fr Telsphore animated the catechists on the Sunday reading of the month.
