Don Bosco Academy, Nalgonda: 21.06.2019: Don Bosco High School, Nalgonda is glad to announce about the permission to start NCC unit in its school. This is a two long years of hard work by Rev. Fr. V. Balashowry, Rector to get permission to begin NCC Unit in the School. Don Bosco High School acquired permission for two units; each unit consisting of 50 cadets. This this year 80 students are selected from 8th and 9th classes to be part of NCC units in the school. Among them, 40 cadets participated in a camp held at Nalgonda from 15th to 21st June 2019. There are four principles of NCC that are highlighted and insisted during this one week camp, they are: Obey with a Smile, Be Punctual, Work Hard and Make No Excuses. The Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades.
“We are all Indians, We are Indians …” are powerful words from NCC anthem to instil patriotism in every young person of India. The National Cadet Corps is the Youth Wing of Armed Forces with its Headquarters at New Delhi, Delhi, India. It is open to school and college students on voluntary basis. National Cadet Corps is a Tri-Services Organization, comprising the Army, Navy and Air Wing, engaged in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens. The National Cadet Corps in India is a voluntary organization which recruits cadets from high schools, colleges and universities all over India. The Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades. The officers and cadets have no liability for active military service once they complete their course.
