St Francis Xavier’s Chruch, Borabanda, 11 August 2019: In view of National Youth day and with the fraternal exhortation of CCBI, the youth of St Francis Xavier’s Church celebrated youth day on 11 August, 2019. The theme for the youth day was “celebrate youth and celebrate life”. The celebrations began with a solemn Eucharistic celebration by Fr Upendar, the assistant parish priest. Thereafter there was the inauguration of the youth Sunday followed by a message by Rev. Fr Papaiah, the parish priest.
The day was marked by organizing different activities like dance and singing, recreational games, fellowship meal and fund raising and outreach programmes to celebrate the youthful dynamism.
