Don Bosco Navajeevan, Vishakhapatnam, 22 August 2019: Three months training in tailoring was offered as part of the Community intervention in empowering the young women and youth. The training was successfully completed today and certificates were distributed by the local Sarpanch and leaders, while other women groups were present. In his message, Sarpanch noted that it is time to empower women making sure that the unabridged family is in a healthy condition. The dignitaries were appreciative of the dedicated service by Don Bosco Navajeevan which is qualitative and they highlighted leadership qualities of the Salesians and the Staff.
Fr Salibidla Balashowry, the director, congratulated the local community members for their constant support and assured support for the empowerment of women and youth. Fr James Cheruvattur was present and appreciated those who completed their course. Total number of beneficiaries were 45. They were given certificates and benefitted through this training programme. The certification ceremony concluded with vote of thanks.
