Don Bosco Chiguru, Vijayawada, 2 September 2019: 2nd September is a day engraved in the hearts of Telugu speaking states with Golden Letters, a day that commemorates the 10th death anniversary of late Mr YS Raja Shekar Reddy. Some leaders leave behind, their legacy after their earthly life. Late Mr YS Raja Shekar Reddy, the former chief minister for united Andhra Pradesh proved his developmental initiatives happening in the state now, even after his demise. Thus, Don Bosco Chiguru was fortunate to host Sri Allagadda Rama Krishna, the honouble MLA of Mangalagiri.
The children cordially welcomed the MLA, affectionately calling him uncle. He was moved by marvellous service rendered by the Salesians to the misfortunate children at Chiguru. He found the image of God in Chiguru as it’s a “Temple of Service”. He spent qualitative time even in carrying a few small children on his shoulders. He assured his support to the organization and its mission in rehabilitating them through setting a good career.
