Don Bosco, Ravulapalem, 2 September 2019: Fr Gangarapu Anil, the Delegate for Salesian Cooperators of the province organized a regional cooperators’ recollection and a meeting thereafter for two units (Ravulapalem & Narsipatnam) on 02nd September at Don Bosco, Ravulapalem. There were twenty five members including council members, the state coordinator Mr. Bethe Joseph and the delegate Fr. Gangarapu Anil. The day began at 10.30 am with a recollection, and a talk by Fr Alex Jayaraju followed by confessions. At 12.15, Fr. Benny the Rector of Peddabodepalli community celebrated the Holy Eucharist which was trailed with Lunch.
After Lunch, a meeting was organized as the Salesian Cooperators introduced themselves. Later, they were divided into three groups and discussed various matters of concern regarding the functioning of each unit. They discussed the wedges and difficulties they face in living their promises as Salesian Cooperators in the Congregation. Similarly, they were given time to share their hurdles in common by the representatives of the group. Well along, Fr Gangarapu Anil gave some important pointers to remember as Salesian Cooperators who need to grow in Christ as good Catholics and in trying to live the spirit of Don Bosco in the mission. Mr Joseph reminded them about the upcoming programmes and meetings and likewise to maintain records, files to be kept up-to-date. He told them about the passing of these records to the next set of local council when elected. There was a suggestion from Cooperators to have one meeting with all the family members of the Cooperators of the Province at least once a year. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from Mr Joji the secretory, and the positive remarks from Fr Madanu Rayappa and his blessing.
