Don Bosco School, Gunadala , 27 October 2019: A meeting of all the principals of Don Bosco Schools in the province was held on the 27th October 2019 in Don Bosco School, Gunadala. Fr Bandha Suresh, the delegate for schools welcomed the gathering and introduced Fr Telespore from Muniguda for the first time. He also presented the agenda for the meeting and thanked the principals for being present for the meeting. Fr Thathireddy Vijaya Bhaskar, the provincial, Fr Thomas Santiagu, the vice provincial, Fr Bandha Suresh, the province delegate for schools, Fr Guntakka Marianna, Fr Salibindla Sandeep, Fr Illuri Balthazar, Fr Pasala Bhaskar, Fr B. Nathan, Fr Telespore Bilung, Fr Yeruva Pradeep, Fr Maramreddy Vijaya Prakash, Fr Gopu Peter, Fr Godugunuru Chinnapaa and Mr Sudheer, the province coordinator for the schools were present for the meeting.
Fr Provincial addressed the group. He appreciated the work done by all the principals to improve the standard in all the schools. He also shared with them the challenges faced by the province financially due to lack of resources. He insisted that the schools should have a minimum standard both in personnel and infrastructure. He highlighted the importance of lay collaboration and the role of Mr Sudheer in coordinating academic performance in the schools.
Well along, the whole group discussed about various points of agenda to improve the academic performance and animating presence of Salesians in the schools. Some important decisions based on the evaluation of the schools were taken up by the principals with the province team. It was unanimously agreed to resolve to work towards increasing of band value of Don Bosco through the institutions. The meeting ended at 3 pm.
